Why do you support shutting down an entire website because of some of the things posted on it? Yes, you may find many of the posts disgusting and vile (as do most other people), but is that reason to shut the entire thing down? You're not a part of the 4chan community. They aren't a section on a website you frequent, so why does it matter to you what they say? Note that I'm not trying to be antagonistic here, I'm legitimately curious.

When you let people be anonymous, they start being assholes because they suddenly don’t think they’re people talking to people anymore. Why do you think Facebook doesn’t allow anonymous accounts? It’s because they understand that anonymity encourages people to be horrible to everyone, lowering the tone and making everyone feel bad.

4chan influences children to not take responsibility for their actions. 4chan influences children to be offensive with no consideration to the consequences because they have a sense of entitlement.

No, you’re not entitled to mock anyone for being “different”.

You’re not entitled to say horrid things to people that you don’t have the courage to say to them in person. 4chan is full of cowards, a trait found in many racists.
