anon was kind of right. No matter what way people have fun, someone will be offended. You need to think realistically. The internet reflects the real world. There are just as many assholes in the real world as there are on 4chan. How do I know? Because all the people on 4chan are just people on their computers in real life. That is why they will win. Because you're just treating symptoms of reality instead of going to the source.
4chan is the source. That’s why it’s the preferable target for rehabilitation and adjustment BEFORE it is a chance to become metastatic and hit the rest of the internet. If we do what we can to educate and influence even a small portion of them then it will reduce the overall damage if it ever does spread.
I’d like to extend an apology to any real life cancer victims for using your illness as a metaphor. My time is limited and I’m short for words. I know that doesn’t excuse my actions but if I can think of a more apt comparison in the future I will go back and change the posts.
