Islamophobia in Feminism and Atheism
@Hijabinist has been subjected to dragging for over a week. The insults range from outrage that she has a Christmas Tree to mental illness slurs to the outrageous false of equivalency of wearing the Hijab being akin to Nazism - mainly from Feminists & Atheists. by me as @CreativeAspie
It often confuses me how many supposed “intersectional feminists” can assume that Islam automatically means misogyny and terrorism. Like really? Are you serious? On one hand they say they’re non-judgmental and ready to listen then two seconds later they show outrageous ignorance and prejudice.

Anonymous asked: I appreciate what you're going for, yet I have my disagreements. This is my opinion, no need for pissy comments. So, here goes. It's the internet, with millions of sites. Can't you just IGNORE 4chan? That'd be a reasonable thing to do.

Can’t you just IGNORE the nazis?
Can’t you just IGNORE 9/11?
Can’t you just IGNORE that gaping flesh wound in your neck?
No, bad things happen when you live in ignorance. Innocent people die.
While 4chan can be considered quite small when compared to the rest of the internet (facebook, tumblr, twitter etc) that doesn’t mean they don’t have a disproportionate level of power. They’ve hacked politicians and governments, they’ve hacked major tech companies and used their technical superiority to harass normal people to the point of suicide.
It’s almost like saying the wealthiest 1% have no power over the 99%.
Racism is unacceptable, even if their numbers are apparently small. Racism is like a cancer that’s just waiting to grow uncontrollably and destroy an otherwise healthy society. The only known treatment for cancer is to identify it early and hit it hard. You need to fight it with everything you have.
4chan is the racist 1%
4chan is a racist cancer
We are the 99% and it’s time to fight this cancer.
Pretty sure some people would get offended by you comparing an internet website to the fucking holocaust and 9/11.
Mainly, the people who witnessed it and the people who had to fight wars because of it. At the moment, you are actually worse than 4chan because you’re actually serious in the comparison. Congrats, you’re even worse than the thing that you are trying to fight.
Maybe if the USA wasn’t so intolerant to Islam we would not have had 9/11
Maybe if the Nazis weren’t so intolerant to Judaism we would not have had a holocaust
I’m confident the victims of these atrocities would agree with me that we must do what we can to stop intolerance before it’s too late. It’s actually probably quite insulting to suggest that we stay ignorant.
You do know that the big difference between 4chan and the other things is that 9/11 and the holocaust lead to the deaths of many, many people.
Unless at least half a million people are killed by 4chan users, then I don’t think you should compare them.
Dude it wasn’t just “intolerance” that caused the holocaust or 9/11.
The Nazis were literally brainwashed, usually from birth, with propaganda spelling out that they were awesome and anyone who wasn’t them (Which btw weren’t just Jews. It was also Gypsies, Christians, Homosexuals, etc.). They became this way because Germany was dying and were so fucking desperate for help that they put Hitler in power, who promised to fix Germany’s problems. And, for all intensive purposes, HE DID! He was just ya know killing too many people. It wasn’t “intolerance” it was fucking desperation and extremists fighting for their country. Not every German soldier was a Nazi. Hell most of the German Army were just patriots fighting because their country needed them to do so and they needed a job.
And it wasn’t “intolerance” that caused 9/11. The Islam and Christian religions have been pitted against each other FOR CENTURIES!! And while the Christian religion says the path to salvation is through Jesus and faith, the Islam religion states that you can be rewarded for dying honorably in a war for your religion. It wasn’t “intolerance” it was extremists fighting for what they believed in. Not every Islamic follower is a terrorist.
Don’t compare a fucking Internet website to great tragedies because you’re butthurt about some fucking trolls. You are not on the same level. Don’t fucking pretend to be.
“The Nazis were literally brainwashed, usually from birth, with propaganda spelling out that they were awesome and anyone who wasn’t them (Which btw weren’t just Jews. It was also Gypsies, Christians, Homosexuals, etc.).”
Sounds a lot like 4chan to me. They’re indiscriminate in who they discriminate against and they’re targetting their victims when they’re young. There are thousands of young people under the age of 15 who regularly use their site.
“They became this way because Germany was dying and were so fucking desperate for help that they put Hitler in power,”
The USA is dying (because bankers caused the 2nd depression) and the people are desperate for help. While there is no person specifically taking up the role of “Hitler #2”, there is plenty of evidence to show that disillusioned people are looking to extremists for a solution. Whether it is the ignorant people resorting to voting UKIP in an attempt to solve their EU problem (4chan heavily supports UKIP) or the Russian neo-nazis who have taken advantage of the unstable situation in Ukraine to try and violently claim land in East Ukraine (I’ll quickly point out that Ukrainian Jews have been receiving death threats and have been forced to evacuate the country).
What we’re doing with the campaign against 4chan is to try and prevent another great tragedy like the Holocaust or 9/11. We’re trying to recognize early the events that led up to and finally caused them.
4chan flags up all of the early warning signs to a catastrophe and people are still remaining too quiet about it. I think people may be scared to say anything.
4chan and the Anonymous ideology must be exterminated or else good people will suffer.
Ok, ok, Maybe exterminated is a little bit emotionally charged and harsh but they definitely need better role models in their lives.
